We asked Antonio Tejado what he thinks about going out partying and bragging about his time in prison while his aunt is undergoing treatment

He had practically disappeared since he was released from prison on bail on May 20, after almost 100 days in jail, for his alleged involvement in the violent robbery at the home of his aunt, María del Monte, and his wife, Inmaculada Casal. Antonio Tejado prefers to keep a low profile and stay away from the spotlight while waiting for the trial to decide whether, as the prosecution claims, he was the mastermind behind the robbery that has been one of the hardest blows that both the singer and his wife have received.

A process that has been delayed and will not take place until spring 2025, and about which Chayo Mohedano’s ex-husband remains completely silent in his increasingly rare public appearances. However, after reports that the Sevillian was emotionally depressed and that in this complicated situation he would only seek refuge in his closest family and his girlfriend Samara Terrón, a witness revealed a few days ago surprising news that does not exactly leave Tejado in a good place. María del Monte’s nephew spent a night of partying and fun in a Seville club until the early hours of the morning (specifically 6:00), and far from seeming dejected, he was euphoric and even boasted about his time in prison.

According to this witness, Antonio was in a “lamentable” and “disastrous” state, his clothes were dirty, and in the face of the commotion caused by his presence in the nightclub, he did not hesitate to boast that he had been in prison, as if “proud” of it, telling some anecdotes about how calm he must have been and how well he must have been looked after. Information about which we have asked the singer’s nephew, who has reappeared in the courts of Seville to sign before the judge, one of the precautionary measures imposed on him to obtain provisional release.

Alone, very serious and hiding his face under sunglasses, Tejado remained silent. He could not help but let his attitude give him away and his expression changed when we asked him to confirm whether he had been partying in ‘deplorable’ conditions. An angry face that increased when we asked him how he had taken the criticism for going on a ‘party’ and boasting about his time in prison while his aunt Maria continues to be psychologically devastated by the robbery and receiving psychological treatment.
