Spanish player Carolina Marín, Olympic champion in Rio 2016, qualified this Saturday for the semifinals of the Paris 2024 Olympic badminton tournament, after defeating Japanese Aya Ohori in two games at the Porte de La Chapelle pavilion, with partial scores of 21-13 and 21-14.
Carolina Marín, who won in 52 minutes, will play the semi-final this Sunday against the winner of the duel between China’s Chen Yu Fei, Olympic champion in Tokyo 2020, and He Bing Jiao.
