MADRID, 2 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The ‘Visiting Stand’ initiative, which regulates the price of away tickets, returns to LaLiga EA Sports in the 2024-2025 season, after 16 of the 20 First Division clubs have signed the agreement again, by which they undertake to offer a fixed minimum quota of 300 tickets at a maximum price of 30 euros, according to a statement.
This agreement, which is governed by the principle of reciprocity, not only allows fans access to matches at a reduced price, but also seeks to encourage fans to travel to accompany their teams in the various matches they play away from home.
“We are proud to be able to announce the second season of ‘Grada Visitante’. The response from clubs and fans has been very good in the first edition and we are confident that this year we will once again reach record numbers by helping fans,” said LaLiga’s Head of Residence, Víctor Martín.
In the 2024-2025 season, Athletic Club, Atlético de Madrid, CA Osasuna, CD Leganés, Deportivo Alavés, FC Barcelona, Girona FC, Getafe CF, RC Celta, RCD Mallorca, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Real Valladolid, Sevilla FC, UD La Palmas and Valencia CF will be part of this initiative.
The partnership will be launched from the first matchday of the 2024-2025 season and will remain active throughout the campaign. Fans can purchase these tickets through their respective clubs’ usual ticket purchasing channels.
The ‘Visiting Stand’ agreement will start this season after last season, according to LaLiga data, nearly 60,000 tickets of this type were sold for the 271 matches that were played, with an average price of 29 euros. The fan groups that bought the most tickets were Betis (5,918), Sevilla (5,101), Atlético (5,032), Athletic (4,870) and Las Palmas (4,752). In total, there was a movement of visiting fans in 98.5% of the matches.
