The new installment of The Iglesias Brothers at work has a very special protagonist: Isabel Preyslerthe mother of the two TVE decorators, Julio Jose and Chabeli Iglesias. Both have set to work to remodel Villameona’s impressive garden, whose furniture, imported from the socialite’s native Philippines, was rotten after 30 years in the open air. The demands of Miguel Boyer’s widow will mark the episode that will be broadcast this Tuesday 23rd and that shows unseen corners of the most famous house in Puerta de Hierro.
The brothers’ mission is not easy, as Isabel flatly refuses to let her children restore the teak and bamboo furniture despite its poor condition. They, however, ignore their mother’s instructions and make decisions on their own, behind Preysler’s back, contacting several specialized companies with which they will radically change the garden.
A panoramic view of the façade or the outside terraces, the pool and the entrance, as well as the outside lounge (designed as a gallery) are some of the rooms that we will discover this Tuesday thanks to the ‘incursion’ of Julio and Chábeli in Villameona with the cameras of the Public. Also the studio in which they are staying Fernando Verdasco and Ana Boyer with her three children since the beginning of the year, which has a bedroom, living room, reading area, dressing area and a recently renovated bathroom.
The programme, produced by RTVE in collaboration with Beta Entertainment Spain and directed by Carlos Hierro and Elena Zapata, has been on air for two weeks. It is a friendly format in which the Iglesias brothers show their talents for decoration and interior design by renovating the house of the celebrities who claim their services. At the moment they have remodeled the house of Beatriz Luengo and Yotuel in Miami and the one in Omar Monteswhich they acquired in one of the most exclusive areas of Madrid after their latest musical successes. Works for which the brothers have received an astronomical fee: 28.000 euros by program for Chábeli and 13.000 euros for July, with a total 224.000 y 104.000 eurosrespectively, for the eight installments that make up the first season.
