Very smiling and close to young people. The Queen really likes to surround herself with young people, she connects very quickly with them. Within seconds she finds a common space to talk about. They are the centennial generation, that of her daughters Leonor and Sofía. On this occasion the field of debate was the responsible use of technology. On the occasion of Safer Internet Day, Mrs. Letizia attended a meeting of the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), which took place at the Real Casino in Madrid this Tuesday, February 6.
One of the Queen's strongest commitments in her field of work related to education and childhood is the responsible and safe use of both the Internet and social networks. With this concern, she attended a meeting with young digital natives organized by INCIBE. During the meeting it was developed activities and workshops to increase the technological skills of the participants and will be taught inspirational talks to promote positive content when minors surf the Internet.
For these types of events, the Queen always looks for comfort. It composes a simple and natural look. Nothing that takes the focus away from the content. Basic black pants, a fitted jacket with a Prince of Wales print and block-heeled loafers. A school shoe comfortable and not sophisticated at all.
Safe Internet
The objective of this day is to promote safe and positive environments for digital technologies among the youngest users. Also, promote respectful use of networks and be critical and creative, in line with European digital principles.
In addition, during the meeting the Incibot mascot, from INCIBE, was presented, which will promote and defend Spanish cybersecurity to protect society against digital threats. The Cybersecurity Institute depends on the Ministry for Digital Transformation.
