Dani Alves is already in the Barcelona Court for his trial accused of sexual assault

BARCELONA, 5 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The footballer Dani Alves is already in the Barcelona Court for the trial that begins this Monday and in which he is accused of allegedly sexually assaulting a young woman in a nightclub.

Alves arrived at the Palace of Justice in a Mossos d'Esquadra van that took him from Brians 2, where he has been in preventive detention for a year and 15 days.

The trial will begin at 10 a.m. and until then it will wait in the dungeons of the Palace of Justice. The footballer's mother also arrived this Monday after 9:30 a.m. at the Barcelona Court where her son will be judged.

The private prosecution of the complainant demands a sentence that condemns him to 12 years in prison, while the Prosecutor's Office has demanded a sentence of nine years in prison.
