The Carvajal-Linan couple, seventh in the mixed 10 m synchronized platform final at the Doha World Cup

The young couple formed by Ana Carvajal and Max Linan finished this Saturday in seventh position in the final of the mixed 10-meter synchronized platform jumping at the World Championships being held in Doha.

Carvajal, 17, and Linan, 18, were making their debut in this competition and always moved within seventh position, highlighting their second jump, which earned the fourth best score. In the end, they finished with 242.76 points, well ahead of the eighth places, the Italians Irene Pesce and Eduard Cristian Timbreti.

For its part, the gold medal went again to China, thanks to the duo Zhang Jiaqi and Huang Jianjie, who led the final from start to finish and added 353.82 points. The silver went to North Korea (Jin Mi Jo and Yong Myong Mi) and the bronze went to Mexico (Alejandra Estudillo and Kevin Berlin Reyes).
