Luis Rubiales is not spared: the magistrate proposes to try him for the “non-consensual” kiss of Jennifer Hermoso

News in the judicial investigation into the kiss of Luis Rubiales a Jennifer Hermoso. The judge of the National Court Francisco de Jorge has proposed trying the former president of the RFEF for what happened during the celebration of the Women's Soccer World Cup in Sydney (Australia) on August 20, tarnishing the historic victory of the Spanish team.

The magistrate also proposes to try the sports director of the men's team, Albert Luke; to the former coach of the women's team, Jorge Vilda; and the former marketing manager of the Federation, Ruben Rivera; due to the subsequent pressure to which she allegedly subjected the Madrid player with the intention of getting her to publicly state that the kiss had been consensual.

In this order to move to an abbreviated procedure, the investigation is concluded considering that all the pertinent procedures have been carried out. Francisco de Jorge concludes that the kiss on the player “was not consensual and was a unilateral and surprising initiative” on his part.

Rubiales, who resigned from his position on September 10, presented a lengthy letter to the head of the Central Investigative Court Number 1 of the National Court a few days ago to ask the judge to close the investigation that continues against him. The former federation leader once again defended that he had “no will” to invade the sexual freedom of the Liga MX Femenil player and that, proof of this, he asked her, according to him, if he could give her a “kiss.”
