Valencia Basket remains strong against Maccabi

Los de Mumbrú make it three out of three in the Euroleague

Valencia Basket beat Maccabi Tel Aviv (75-66) this Wednesday on the third day of the Euroleague, a full of victories that the ‘taronja’ team extended without sweating excessively.

The inertia is tremendously positive in Álex Mumbrú’s team, winning this time almost by gallons and by presence in La Fonteta. The Israeli team, forced to play as a visitor due to the war in their country, was no match against a plugged-in Valencia.

The Spanish team took a step forward in the second half, with a cushion in the third quarter of 10 points, and finished the job with good actions from Brandon Davies. Víctor Claver and Damien Inglis also stood out in a duel that began with a low profile, few points and prominence shared between both teams.

Jaime Pradilla also assumed an important role in the first half. Maccabi was weighed down by the inactivity of the last two weeks and Valencia missed Semi Ojeleye, who is out due to overload.
