Daniel Sancho enters provisional prison for the alleged murder of Edwin Arrieta

The 29-year-old chef will be in isolation for the next ten days due to the anti-Covid-19 protocol; and during that period he will only be able to receive visits from his lawyer, an international criminal expert who has been hired by his own father.

Daniel, who has declared his intention to collaborate with justice and who until now has had the services of a public defender, will meet with his new legal representative for the first time this Tuesday. His father, on the other hand, will not be able to see him for another ten days.

The alleged crime occurred on Wednesday, August 2, at a hotel on the island of Koh Phangan. Sancho is accused of murder and of dismembering the body into pieces to hide his remains.
