Rocío Carrasco files an appeal after being sentenced for not paying her son’s pension

Rocio Carrasco He has received a judgment in recent days against him not paying his child’s pension for 66 months, Davidthe fruit of her marriage to Antonio David Flores. Rocío Jurado’s daughter has been sentenced to a fine of 900 euros and to compensate the 24-year-old with 13,200 euros.

However, Fidel Albiac’s wife has filed an appeal before the Provincial Court of Madrid, as the lawyer Maica Vasco Mogorron advanced this Friday on her social networks.

The sentence to Rocío Carrasco

As we collected, Judge Juan Antonio Toro, head of number 23 of the Criminal Court of Madrid, sentenced Rocío Carrasco Mohedano as “the author responsible for a crime of non-payment of pensions” to her son David Flores Carrasco. The magistrate, in a sentence dated July 31, considers it proven that Rocío Carrasco has not paid her son the 200 euros per month to which she has been obliged since January 2018 by a decision of the Violence Against Women court of alcobendas.

The judge sentenced the mother of Rocío Flores to pay a six-month fine at a rate of five euros per day (900 euros in total) and to compensate her son with 13,200 euros plus interest for all time (66 monthly payments, five years and medium) who has not paid the pension.

In the trial, held on June 28, Carrasco assured through his legal team that he had tried to pay his son, but that all his assets were seized by the Tax Agency. The private prosecution, which represented his son, David Flores, withdrew during the trial.

The young man, who has a disability, explained in court that he only wanted to receive the money that corresponds to him, and his lawyer withdrew the request for a year in prison for Rocío Carrasco. In the oral hearing, the request for the other daughter, Rocío Flores, to testify as a witness was also withdrawn.

Now, we will have to wait for the resolution of the appeal presented by the daughter of Pedro Carrasco in the Provincial Court.
