MADRID, 4 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
iryo, a private Spanish high-speed operator in which Trenitalia, Air Nostrum and Globalvia participate, is the new sponsor and official train of La Vuelta 23, the first sports competition with which the new train company is allied.
La Vuelta 23, which begins on August 26 in Barcelona and ends on September 17 in Madrid after 21 stages, will have iryo as the official train, supporting the organization of responsible transport.
Regarding the agreement, iryo will sponsor the arc of the last kilometer in each stage and will have visibility in different supports of the race, as well as on television, media and social networks.
In addition, every day, on the Instagram account of La Vuelta, a contest will be held in which users have to guess how long it takes the winner of the stage to cover the last kilometer.
For its part, La Vuelta will have visibility on the upper screens of the iryo trains and in the Yo Portal, the company’s on-board entertainment space.
The CEO and general manager of iryo, Simone Gorini, described supporting La Vuelta as an “honor”. “It is a great opportunity for us since some stages begin or end in iryo destinations such as Barcelona, Tarragona, Zaragoza or Madrid, and La Vuelta allows us to take the iryo brand to many other corners in a sustainable way”, he valued.
For his part, the general director of La Vuelta, Javier Guillén, assured that iryo, like La Vuelta, brings people closer to discovering new places. “We are aligned in terms of values such as innovation, sustainability or dynamism, so this agreement makes all the sense in the world and that makes us very happy,” he commented.
“We hope it will be a fruitful collaboration and that it will last a long time, since for Unipublic it is key to have partners who look to the future in a sustainable way, in this case, through responsible transport,” added Guillén.
