The Spanish cyclist Ricardo Ten secured the medal on Wednesday by reaching the final in the individual pursuit qualifying at the Para-cycling World Championships in Glasgow (Scotland).
The Valencian defended his title in the first safe medal for the Spanish team, being second in the qualifying round with a time of 3:43.536. Ten will face the Chinese Zangyu Li in the final.
In addition, in the rest of the day, the tandem formed by Christian Veng and Eloy Teruel finished the individual pursuit qualifying in 9th place with a time of 4:18.141
Maurice Eckhard (3:48.480) and Luis Arcega (3:49.077) finished the C2 class individual pursuit qualifying in 9th and 10th position respectively. For their part, Damián Ramos (4:40.962) and Julio Bermejo (4:50.167) were eighth and fourteenth in C4.
