Cavani leaves Valencia and signs for Boca

MADRID, 29 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Valencia CF and the Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani reached an agreement this Saturday to end their contractual relationship and the ‘Matador’ went to Boca Juniors, an Argentine club that also made the move official.

“Valencia CF and Edinson Cavani have reached an agreement for the contractual termination of the Uruguayan striker,” the ‘che’ team announced on their official website.

Cavani arrived at Valencia in August 2022 after finishing his time at Manchester United and played a total of 28 games for the Mestalla club, scoring seven goals.

The ‘Matador’ left Spain and Europe to sign for a Boca that already wanted him last summer. The Bombonera team made the incorporation of the ‘charrúa’ striker official on their Instagram account. “Edinson Cavani agreed to incorporate him into Boca until December 2024,” he wrote.
