Carlos Alcaraz has won this sunday Novak Djokovic and enters Wimbledon history after an epic duel. The 20-year-old from Murcia lifts his second Grand Slam against the greatest tennis player of all time.

“It’s great to win, but even if I had lost I would have been so proud of myself. It’s amazing. A dream come true. I’m so proud of the team I have and the work we do every day. I’ve fallen in love with grass. I never expected play at this level on this surface. I have learned really quickly and I am very grateful and proud”, the Spanish athlete said emotionally.

Proud of his victory, our country’s politicians have taken to Twitter to congratulate the young man. “Enormous Carlos Alcaraz! Wimbledon champion in a final that will go down in history. Congratulations!” Wrote the Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez.

“Congratulations, Carlos Alcaraz, for this great victory! Thank you for moving us and making us enjoy your talent,” said the current second vice president of the Government and Sumar candidate for the 23J generals, Yolanda Diaz.
