LaLiga and EA Sports have inaugurated this Tuesday the first of the many fields that they are going to create in Spain within the FC Futures project, which seeks to bring football closer to all children, with the creation of these spaces and the support of legends, who will train to the youth participating in the program.

Fernando Morientes, LaLiga legend and project ambassador; Olga de la Fuente, director of the LaLiga Foundation; and James Salmon, Senior Marketing Director of EA Sports.

Morientes stressed the “magnificent” work that has been done in this environment, especially for those who come from soccer, who know that it instills the values of “respect, camaraderie, desire to excel, sacrifice, effort and humility”. “I hope that many things like this are done that last over time,” explained the ‘Moro’.

On the other hand, Olga de la Fuente sees the project as a look “towards the future”, with which they try to promote football for the little ones and take advantage of it for social transformation. “We have great power but above all a great responsibility, to inspire the world through football and the responsibility to use it to generate a positive impact on society,” she argued.

For his part, James Salmon stressed the idea of making sport “more accessible” to everyone and with this project they take “the first step to achieve it.” The purpose of FC Futures is to inspire the world to love football and our vision is to democratize access to football.
