FEB, Endesa and CSD present the documentary ‘The Coming of Age’

The Palacio de la Prensa in Madrid hosted this Tuesday the ‘premiere’ of the documentary ‘The Coming of Age’, produced and promoted by ‘Endesa’ with the collaboration of the Higher Sports Council (CSD) and the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB ).

This piece narrates the experiences of twelve girls who for two years have been part of the Siglo XXI High Performance Center in Barcelona with the aim of pursuing their dream of becoming professional basketball players.

In addition to the twelve young protagonists, the ‘premiere’ was attended by Jorge Garbajosa, president of FIBA ​​Europe; Nacho Jiménez, Endesa’s General Director of Communication; and Eva Bárbara Fuertes, deputy director of Women and Sport of the CSD.

The event was hosted by former international player Marta Fernández, former international player in charge of presenting a documentary that is part of the ‘Basket Girlz’ program promoted by the energy company with the collaboration of the CSD and the FEB, and which aims to reverse the dynamics of early abandonment of basketball in young people between the ages of 12 and 18.
