The Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB), CaixaBank and the Madrid Basketball Federation have decided to postpone the stop of the Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank 2023 circuit that was scheduled to take place this Wednesday in Madrid due to the heat wave in the Spanish capital.
“The reason is to avoid the environmental and health risks of the participants derived from the heat wave that many areas of our country are suffering these days. Both the Community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council have sent instructions in this regard, recommending not hold sporting events outdoors”, confirmed the FEB.
In addition, the federal body has announced that in the coming weeks, it will agree with CaixaBank and the Basketball Federation on a new date for the stop, which will be held “in the last four-month period of the year.”
