RCD Mallorca confirmed on Monday the signing of the Spanish left-back Toni Lato for the next four seasons, until June 30, 2027 and that he arrives from Valencia, from which he had been released after not renewing.
The 25-year-old Valencian has been linked to the ‘che’ team since he was young, in which in his last season he played a total of 24 league games, with one goal scored, as well as two in the Copa del Rey and the the semifinals of the Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid.
“The truth is that I am very excited and eager to start working; to meet my colleagues and to get to know the island. For me it was an ideal project, which is growing and I also want to grow together with it. In addition, It is an exciting project, last year the team finished ninth and with the stadium being remodeled. I really wanted to come here and contribute my ‘granite'”, Lato said in statements collected by the Mallorca website, where he already knows footballers like Jaume Costa, Kang-in Lee or Manu Morlanes.
