MADRID, 23 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish coach José Bordalás has renewed as coach of the Azulón first team for the next two seasons, until 2025, the Madrid club confirmed this Friday.
The coach from Alicante returned to the Getafe bench on April 29, which he had already directed between 2016 and 2021, to try to achieve permanence in the First Division in the last seven days of the championship.
Bordalás, who took over from the dismissed Quique Sánchez Flores, took the third-to-last azulón team, one point from the safety zone, and managed to finish the fifteenth season, two units above relegation after reaping three wins, two draws and two defeats.
In total, Bordalás has led a total of 219 games for the Madrid team, divided into its two stages, and is the coach who has led the team in the most games in professional football.
