The Queen’s last international cooperation trip began on Monday the 12th. Doña Letizia traveled with her team to Cartagena de Indias to face a very tight schedule: visit the Villa Hermosa neighborhood, the city’s Workshop School and to the Baluarte de Santa Catalina, among many others. A lot of work that deserves a good rest. Where? In one of the best boutique hotels in Cartagena.
Doña Letizia has stayed at Casa Don Luis by Faranda, an old palace converted into a very exclusive hotel with 20 rooms. It maintains the architecture of the colonial era, which makes it an authentic jewel that has been modernized (respecting the structure) with a private pool, hydromassage bathtub and a spa room.
The rooms are ‘simple’ or suites, with a living room, fridge and balcony with views of the old town, among other things. Prices range from $300 to $900 a night.
A marvel that Queen Letizia has been able to enjoy two nights, since this Wednesday she has set off for Cali, where she plans to visit the Ecomún-CECOESPE coffee farm and meet with the women of the Gardening Workshop School. Later, she will return to Spain.
