The Polish tennis player and number 1 in the WTA ranking Iga Swiatek will be the godmother of the graduation of the seventh class of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the indoor facilities of the Spanish tennis player’s academy, which she will accompany at the gala to the recent champion of Roland Garros.
A total of 50 students will end their academic stage at the Rafa Nadal International School, in an act in which they will be accompanied by Rafa Nadal and Iga Swiatek.
The world number 1 comes from winning her third Roland Garros, last Saturday in Paris, and will be the godmother taking over from Pau Gasol, David Ferrer, Ona Carbonell and Ricky Rubio, who accompanied Rafa at graduations in recent years (Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova did it telematically in 2020).
