MADRID, 17 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The coach of Juventus FC, Massimiliano Allegri, stated this Wednesday that his pupils will have to “be good” to “extinguish” the “flames” of Sevilla FC, ahead of the second leg of their Europa League semi-final and that part with the 1-1 of the first leg played in Turin.
“Sevilla is a strong team and in Turin they played a good game. They know this competition very well and tomorrow they will have the extra push from their fans who will try in every way to charge them to the maximum”, Allegri commented at a press conference, accompanied by the Colombian defender Juan Cuadrado.
“For our part, we will have to be good at putting out their flames, always keeping calm because the game will be very long and there will be many moments within the match to interpret in one way or another”, added the coach of the ‘Vecchia Signora’ .
“The whole team wants to reach this final. Without taking anything away from Sevilla, the boys deserve to play in the final of this Europa League. We know it will be very difficult, especially at home, but we really want to qualify”, Allegri stressed about the appointment this Thursday (9:00 p.m.) at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium.
In addition, the ‘bianconero’ coach has said that his team “is physically well” and that “it has shown it in recent games”. “We are aware that the game could last more than 90 minutes, so it will be important who is there from the beginning, but it will be essential who will take charge of the game afterwards,” he added.
“This year has been a lively year, in which we have had to consider other aspects apart from the objectives we had. We took everything as an opportunity and now we have almost reached the end, that will be the moment to draw conclusions, but until then in the field we will have to do what we are called to do: give the maximum”, Allegri finally highlighted.
