Sevilla FC welcomes Juventus Turin this Thursday (9:00 p.m.) in the second leg of the Europa League semifinals after drawing in the first leg (1-1), in a match where the Sevilla goal was the work of Youssef En- Nesyri, a player who since the beginning of 2023 has been in a state of grace.
The Moroccan forward now seems different. Taking into account his records since the beginning of the year, he is the eighth player in the five major European leagues who has scored the most goals with 16 (all competitions). This number is even more relevant if one takes into account that in the first part of the season (until January 1) he only had two goals in his account after participating in 16 games.

Framing En-Nesyri’s performance strictly in the Europa League, the Moroccan striker has scored four goals in the seven games he has played, being the top scorer in the competition’s qualifiers along with Argentine Ángel Di María.

In 2023, En-Nesyri is also the second LaLiga Santander player to average a goal every less time in all competitions. The Moroccan scores a goal every 115 minutes of play, a figure only bettered by Real Madrid player Karim Benzema, who does the same every 107 minutes.
