Jordi Xammar and Nora Brugman place second at the start of the European 470 class

The Spanish couple formed by Jordi Xammar and Nora Brugman was in second place in the general classification after the dispute this Monday of the first day of the 470 class European Championship that is taking place in San Remo (Italy).

As reported by the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation (RFEV), after a delay in the start due to lack of wind, it was finally possible to start one of the two sleeves that took place and where Xammar and Brugman were the best of the four national crews that are participating in the appointment.

Thus, the two Catalan sailors finished in fifth place in the first test and signed an excellent second in the second to stay behind the Germans Theresa Löffler and Christopher Hoerr, great dominators of the day with two partial victories.

For their part, Silvia Mas and Nicolás Rodríguez were in fifteenth place in the standings after adding an eleventh and a tenth, while Neus Ballester and Jaime Wizner, thirty-ninth, and Pablo Ruiz and María del Mar Gil, in rank 61.
