Rafael Amargo confesses that he thought about committing suicide after his last arrest for a crime of drug trafficking

Raphael Bitter He was arrested last March accused of drug trafficking from his home in Madrid. The artist, who was in Alicante to perform, struggled with the police for which he had to go through the dungeon again. 48 hours later, he was provisionally released.

Since then, he has stayed out of the public eye. So far, he that he has granted an interview to Public mirror. The bailaor says that he is “well, thank God” but believes that his arrest was a “science fiction scene”, since he “was out of the question”.

In this context, he explains his version of that night: “They arrested me without explaining the reason, they answered me with some forms and a bravado, some scoundrels. I was lying on the ground, crying. I turned it around and a riot broke out , they throw me to the ground to calm me down, but when they castrate you and stomp on your head… I defended myself like a person who defends himself against six, do you let them beat you in the face?” In addition, he says that “he had no hands” to defend himself, so when the policeman jumped on him, he bit him.

Regarding the question of whether the arrest was because he was carrying narcotics for his own consumption, the bailaor clarifies: “Not small amounts, there weren’t any direct amounts. I don’t know who these supposed clients are, they’re false, because since I don’t sell anything they aren’t clients, They are fake customers. In my house there is no street vendor selling anything. You’re welcome.”

Fed up with what has happened to him, Amargo has made his toughest confession: “You think about a lot of things and… I am a very brave guy but there are times when I think about getting out of the way.” Luckily, he has relied on the “love” he feels for his family: “I think I will not be the same person as before because my heart is very hurt, but I really like what I do and for the love of my children and my family I will fight until the end”.
