The question that torments Alessandro Lequio: “Do you know where my son’s genetic material comes from?”

The Italian count went from “I know everything” to “I’m finding out things I didn’t know” in less than 24 hours. His silence has been interpreted as pain and anger at the situation that has generated Ana Obregon with her surrogate motherhood and the position in which she has put him, now a grandfather. Many doubt that he will manage to stay out of the circus that his ex has set up and that he promises new deliveries (arrival in Spain, baptism and even brothers) and the truth is that in the corridors of Mediaset he has already asked questions to those who might have information about the one he lacks: “Do you know if the genetic material came from the hospital where my son was treated? Has it gone directly there?”

This was the question Alessandro Lequio did to Sandra Aladro, director of the agency that photographed Ana Obregón in Miami with her newborn daughter leaving the hospital. And you have to go back to 2019 to understand it: the count accompanied his son Aless to an assisted reproduction center in Madrid, specifically the IVI Institute, to donate semen. Raquel, the young man’s girlfriend at the time, also accompanied them.

Miguel Ángel Nicolás’s comment sheds more light on this question: “A piece of information from the hospitals in New York and Miami slips through, which leaves me with my mouth open, things go more that way, things that Lequio was unaware of, that is why his change of criteria”, said the journalist. “He asks it with intention, the genetic load leaves the United States”, they say, a very relevant fact that, apparently, the father was unaware of. Did mother and son act behind the earl’s back? Or just Ana?

“His intention is to be absolutely silent, although he has stated that he is against surrogacy. I don’t know if he will be able to maintain this silence, maybe there is something that he will no longer be able to bear,” he added. Marisa Martin Blazquez.
