MADRID, 23 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni joined Real Madrid’s training sessions this Thursday, which began to prepare for the key derby against Atlético de Madrid next Saturday in LaLiga Santander, without the presence of Rodrygo Goes and David Alaba.
The international midfielder has missed the games against Osasuna and English Liverpool due to illness, but he is back under the orders of Carlo Ancelotti for the visit to the Santiago Bernabéu by Diego Pablo Simeone’s team.
On the other hand, the Madrid coach could lose Austrian defender David Alaba and Brazilian striker Rodrygo Goes for this duel who, according to the Merengue team’s website, trained inside the Valdebebas facilities together with French winger Ferland Mendy.
Alaba had to retire at the start of the match against Liverpool last Tuesday due to a muscle problem and was replaced by Nacho Fernández. Although Real Madrid has not provided any official medical report, it seems unlikely that he could be there on Saturday.
Rodrygo, for his part, also ended up ‘touched’ at Anfield, where he played 80 minutes and we will have to wait for training this Friday to see his options to be against the rojiblancos, whom he has scored in his last two duels.
