Rebeka Masarova says goodbye in the second round of the Linz tournament

MADRID, 8 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish tennis player Rebeka Masarova said goodbye this Wednesday to her career in the Linz (Austria) tournament, scoring for the WTA and which is played on indoor hard court, after clearly falling in the second round against the Czech Marketa Vondrousova by a double 6 -1.

Masarova, who had qualified for the main draw of the event since the qualifying phase and finalist this year in Auckland (New Zealand), arrived excited after having knocked out the second favorite, the Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, but this time she did not have many options against an opponent who only lost seven points on serve and who managed six service breaks.
