The national women’s soccer coach, Jorge Vilda, will provide this Monday (11:00 am) the list of summoned for the Nations Cup, a tournament that will be played in Australia between February 16 and 22.
This friendly tournament will be the first to be played by the national team in 2023 and with a view to fine-tuning its set-up for its participation in the World Cup this summer to be played in Oceania.
Spain will face Australia, Jamaica and the Czech Republic at this event. It will debut on February 16 against the Jamaican team in the town of Gosford and three days later it will have in Sydney the theoretical toughest clash against the hosts of the next World Cup. On February 22, in Newcastle, he will close his participation in Newcastle against the Czech team, the only one of the four that will not compete in the World Cup.
Vilda will offer those chosen for this Nations Cup starting at 11:00 a.m. through social networks, while an hour later she will appear in the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas (Madrid) before the media, as confirmed by the national team.
