Sara Carbonero turns 39 this Friday, February 3 and, among all the messages she has received, the one from the sister of the disappeared young woman Elena Huelva, Emi. The journalist established a great friendship with both of them after running into Elena a few years ago on the Gran Vía in Madrid. After Elena’s death just a month ago, the presenter continues to be a great support for Emi and her family.
“Happy birthday friend. Here, some of the memories of these years in which the number has not been important, but the intensity (intense like us) of the moments, because in the end, as Elena says, life is that, the memories that you get along with the person you love”, Emi wrote along with a video of special moments that they both shared with Elena.
“We will continue creating memories together. Now I love you x2, you know, raining, a sunny day, dressed up, in a dining room, in a restaurant, on a bad day… or in a sports venue,” she added. . For Emi, Carbonero will always be a very important person for all that it meant to her sister, and also to her: “One of the gifts my sister has given me is you, and what a gift. Thank you Sara, for showing up, being there and stay. I love you.”
The ex of Iker Casillas was moved by his congratulations: “How exciting what you write, dear Emi. You know that luck is mine because our paths crossed. In these years I have not stopped learning from you. We will continue dancing and celebrating as we know, always guided by that star that takes care of us. I love you very much”, he replied.
Early this Friday, Emi also remembered her sister, who passed away on January 3 at the age of 20. His message is overwhelming: “I see and feel your signs, I knew you would be so smart to know how to make me see them very easily (…) Around here everything has less light and less sense, but I try to have something beautiful every day, as you taught me. We continue.”
The Sevillian Elena Huelva has become a popular face on social networks in recent years for making visible the disease that she was diagnosed with in 2016, Ewing’s sarcoma. It is a rare type of cancer that forms in the bone or in the soft tissue around it, the same one that Ana Obregón’s son suffered, which the Aless Lequio Foundation presented to the media this Friday. In 2022, Elena published the book My desires win. No one has promised us a tomorrow, live in the present.
