The Prosecutor’s Office has requested provisional detention without bail for the former FC Barcelona player Dani Alves, for an alleged sexual assault on a young woman at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona.

Judicial sources have explained to Europa Press that the Prosecutor’s Office has requested this precautionary measure, although they are awaiting the judge’s decision.


The events occurred on the night of December 30 at the premises, and this Friday he was summoned to testify at police stations and, subsequently, he was brought before the judge.
