Danish striker Kasper Dolberg, currently at Sevilla on loan from French Nice, could be close to joining Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga in the coming days, according to indications from Germany.
According to information from the Deutsche Presse-Agentur, the negotiations between the German club and the 25-year-old player are at an advanced stage, while the newspaper ‘Bild’ reports that the international will be loaned to Hoffenheim until the end of the season after he Nice terminates the loan contract it has with the Sevilla team, where it has not enjoyed many occasions.
Dolberg has a contract until 2024 with the French Ligue 1 team, which he joined in 2019 from Dutch Ajax for around 20 million euros and where he scored 24 goals in 85 games. With Sevilla, he hardly counted for either Julen Lopetegui or Jorge Sampaoli and has accumulated eight games, four in LaLiga Santander and four in the Champions League, without scoring in a total of 303 minutes. He did not enter the squad list for this Friday’s duel against Celta.
