Alejandro Valverde and Laia Palau, awarded at the Sports Values ​​Gala

Former cyclist Alejandro Valverde and former basketball player Laia Palau will be two of the winners at the V Sports Values ​​Gala delivered by the newspaper Sport on December 15 at the headquarters of the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE).

“The athletes Alejandro Valverde and Laia Palau will receive their award accompanied by the main sports authorities in the country, such as the president of the COE, Alejandro Blanco, the deputy sports minister of the Community of Madrid, Alberto Tomé, and the general director of the Superior Council of Sports, Albert Soler”, announced the organization.
