Prades: “It is undeniable that the group has something and is growing”

MADRID, 13 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The women’s national handball coach, José Ignacio Prades, congratulated his team for the “attitude, effort and sensations” despite the draw (29-29) this Sunday against the Netherlands, which moves away from the semifinals in the European Championship.

“Once again the team has had a 10 in attitude, effort and sensations, they have known how to face the duel after the defeat against Romania and we have gone with everything. Of course we would have liked a victory, but the group has armed itself with fight and sacrifice to row and get that point,” he said in statements provided by the Royal Spanish Handball Federation (RFEMM).

Prades assessed the reaction of the ‘Guerreras’ after the painful defeat against Romania, in a second day of the ‘Main Round’ in which they dominated the ‘Oranje’ but lost effectiveness in the second half. “Perhaps the most difficult thing to manage was the lead we got in the first half, but in the second, the give and take was very nice,” he said.

“We deserved the point. Now we will try to get something positive against France, fight and compete as we have done so far, it is undeniable that the group has something and is growing,” he added, reading a positive future.
