The new autumn-winter collection of Zara has a pleasant surprise: a capsule designed by the very Kaia Gerber, daughter of Cindy Crawford and one of the supermodels of the moment (she won the award for Best Model at the British Awards). She introduced her this Sunday at a party she attended Martha Ortegapresident of Inditex, who made clear the chemistry between the two with a warm welcome hug.
The event took place on Rue Sedaine in Paris, taking advantage of the framework of Fashion Week in the French capital. The protagonist of the day came with one of the garments that she has designed for this first collection, an oversize suit in black that is pure sophistication. Marta Ortega also opted for an oversize, but in her case it was a two-tone tunic dress (black and brown) that she combined with an original adjustable gold bracelet that the jewelry designer Elie Top has also created for Zara.
The exclusive Kaia Gerber collection goes on the market this Tuesday, October 4 and it is made up of more than thirty pieces (shoes, dresses and accessories) designed to be part of the wardrobe basics. “If you were traveling and you carried everything in a suitcase, would you have everything? I think we have achieved it,” said the top in the presentation.
Neutral colors stand out with denim details and the style ranges from oversized jackets to fitted knitted dresses with bare backs. The classic bralettes and men’s shirts with an updated touch could not be missing either.
