The King and Queen of Spain are already in London to attend the various official acts in honor of Isabel II. Once on British soil, Philip VI y Letizia they went to the Spanish Embassy in the United Kingdom and, shortly after, to the funeral chapel in Westminster.

Dressed in deep mourning as a sign of respect, the queen landed in the British capital wearing a black Hugo Boss dress that she has kept since 2015. On her chest, in addition, a very special brooch, since it belonged to Victoria Eugenia, the queen consort of Alfonso XIII who strengthened the ties between the two crowns.
In fact, in the last days many are the royals who have worn this piece to complete their looks as a nod to the monarch. So did the new Princess of Wales, Kate Middletonwhen he chose a pearl brooch that belonged to the collection of Elizabeth II.
To attend the funeral chapel, Doña Letizia changed her outfit to a more sober one: a set of skirt and black blouse whose sleeves created the effect of a cape. Her hair, pulled back in a low bun, and her makeup also very understated.
