MADRID, 16 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The first edition of Autopía, the festival of motor culture for families and car enthusiasts with models from all eras, will be held on September 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., in El Bosque Santander, in the Madrid town of Boadilla del Monte, the organizers report.

Lovers of the motor world will be able to enjoy a unique and 100 percent sustainable experience, with more than 400 copies on display from brands such as Porsche, Mercedes, Bentley, Ford, Alpine, Alfa Romeo, KIA, Cupra or Michelin, which will pay tribute to its 133 years of history.

Classic, sports, supercars, modified or rare cars will be the protagonists of a day that will feature live music, foodtrucks, a children’s area and an exhibition of objects belonging to the seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher.

The exhibition is exhibited in a natural space, just 10 kilometers from Madrid, populated by centuries-old olive trees and with a surface area of nearly 70 hectares.

In addition, Autopía is committed to great social causes and sustainability. 3 percent of the amount raised during the family day will go to collaborate with the ‘Children against Cancer’ research of the University Clinic of Navarra and the Applied Clinical Research Center (CIMA) to develop new treatments against childhood cancer .

This project seeks to use ‘trained’ modified viruses to combat childhood tumors with a worse prognosis, such as brain tumors, in a more effective and less toxic way than the current one. In addition, the organization of the event -with Juan Hernández-Luike and Héctor Álvarez at the helm and under the label ‘Ifyoulikecars’- will deploy portable solar fields provided by Algeco and Polar DV to power the venue throughout the day and guarantee a context of self-sufficiency .

Tickets for Autopía cost 20 euros and can be purchased through the Fever website, a global live entertainment platform at an international level.
