Carlos III’s confession to Prime Minister Liz Truss: “I was afraid of people’s reaction”

In his speech, Carlos praised his wife, affirming that she will be the best companion for this new path she is embarking on: “I know that she will bring to the demands of her new position the firm devotion to duty that I have come to trust so much.” He also had words for his sons William, whom he named the new Prince of Wales, and Harry, whom he wished the best on his way to building a new life abroad. “To my beloved mom, who is already on her way to meet my father, I can only say Thank you.”
