Decathlon celebrates European Mobility Week with an extensive program of activities

From September 16 to 22, this movement takes place in the old continent in favor of healthy movement and its benefits

MADRID, 6 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The sports equipment distribution and sales company Decathlon has joined the European Mobility Week to facilitate the population’s change towards healthier and more sustainable lifestyles with an extensive program of activities, which will be held from 16 to 22 September in its centers throughout Spain.

People of all ages will be able to discover both the mobility products that Decathlon makes available to them and the physical and mental benefits associated with changing habits in the way they move. Some of the workshops planned include bicycle repair and maintenance; test of electric scooters and bicycles; skating classes; closed circuits; bike rides and walking routes, among other activities.

The company will also report on techniques to extend the useful life of its mobility products and on safe circulation in cities.

On September 18, electric mobility will be the protagonist of the events that Decathlon will hold in the center of some cities, thus promoting electric transport as an alternative to traveling by car in urban areas.

Likewise, the company specializing in sports also encourages all its customers to celebrate September 22, World Car Free Day, and to go to its stores in a sustainable way. All those people who want to join the company in the different events and face-to-face activities just have to access the Decathlon sports activities platform, select their region and store and sign up for the activities they want.
