Vinicius is already Spanish

MADRID, 5 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Madrid’s Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior has acquired Spanish nationality, after he swore to the Spanish Constitution on September 2, the white club reported in a statement.

“Real Madrid CF announces that our Brazilian player Vinicius Junior swore to the Spanish Constitution last Friday, September 2, so from that moment on he also has Spanish nationality”, indicates the note from the Madrid entity.

Vinicius Junior arrived at Real Madrid in 2018 from Flamengo, and with the Concha Espina club he has won 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European and 2 Spanish Super Cups and two league championships.

The striker will debut his dual Brazilian and Spanish nationality this Tuesday on the first day of the group stage that Carlo Ancelotti’s team will play, starting at 9:00 p.m., at Celtic Park in Glasgow.
