The LNFS imposes the golden insignia on Miquel Jaume posthumously

The National Futsal League (LNFS) has awarded the gold badge posthumously to the former president of Palma Futsal Miquel Jaume, a recognition “in honor of his dedication and contribution to the growth of futsal and the LNFS during 23 years of management” .

The president of the LNFS, Javier Lozano, described the concession as “an act of justice” while handing over to the daughter of the deceased, María Jaume, the gold badge during the Ciutat de Palma Trophy, which is also the Memorial in tribute to its founder .

“It has been an act of justice, a sincere gesture of gratitude for his commendable work, which all the clubs voted unanimously in the last Assembly. The National Futsal League wants to honor his memory with this posthumous badge that recognizes his generosity , seriousness, honesty and unwavering loyalty to the Association,” he said.

In addition, he highlighted the example of Palma Futsal for “its ability to permeate society and become a benchmark”. “He is a role model. It was Miquel’s dream and he wanted to fulfill it. He always had that vision and he achieved it. His legacy is undeniable and the memory of him is present day by day at the club,” he added Lush.

Manacorí Miquel Jaume passed away on March 10, 2021 at the age of 67. He was the founder and president of Palma Futsal, a team that was proclaimed runner-up in the LNFS last season and that will debut in the UEFA Futsal Champions League for the first time in its history this season. In addition, his foundation supports local clubs and federations and directly helps more than 1,700 athletes on the island.
