The Spanish soccer team for amputees reveals its chosen ones for the World Cup in Istanbul

The Spanish amputee soccer team unveiled on Wednesday the 15 players called up by coach Mikel Balmaseda for the World Cup to be played in Istanbul between September 28 and October 10.

The base of the national team is the Flamencos Amputados Sur, which contributes David Mendes, Francisco Javier Castilla Sánchez, Jaime Tonda Estévez, José Luis Hurtado Torres, Nicolás García Díaz and Marcos González de la Peña, while the Unión Deportivo Sector Montserratina provides Andreu Orós, Joan Bargües Piñol, Luis Fernando Ribeiro and Alberto Pino Rodríguez.

The call is completed with Carlos Roberto Díaz, Jonatan Ruiz García and Zacarias Oualit Al Farfache, from the Sant Vicenc dels Horts Association, and by Adrián Castro González and Oliver Flores Coronado, from the Activity, as reported by the Spanish Federation of Sports for Persons with Disabilities physics

To prepare for this World Cup, in which Spain is drawn in Group E along with Poland, Uzbekistan and Tanzania, the team recently held a training camp at the Sant Cugat del Vallés High Performance Center (Barcelona).
