The Women’s Football First Division will kick off on Saturday 10th September with the match between Atlético de Madrid and Real Sociedad (12.00), while the champion FC Barcelona will visit the recently promoted Levante Las Planas next Sunday 11th of that month at 6:00 p.m., according to a statement from the Professional Women’s Soccer League (LPFF).
Thus, the LPFF has announced this Friday the times of the first day of the highest category, after the draw for the calendar carried out by the RFEF in Las Rozas on August 12, with that duel between the rojiblancas and the ‘txuri-urdin ‘ as the opening match of the competition on September 10.
That same day, Alhama CF will also begin its particular adventure in the highest category of Spanish women’s football against Madrid CFF (12:00), before Villarreal-Real Madrid (4:00 p.m.) and UDG Tenerife-Athletic (6:00 p.m., peninsular time).
On Sunday, September 11, there will be Levante UD-Deportivo Alavés (12:00), Sporting Club Huelva-Sevilla (12:00) and Valencia-Betis (4:00 pm), with the duel between Levante Las Planas, recently promoted, and FC Barcelona, which defends the title of champion, as the closing of this first day.
