MADRID, 11 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Brazilian striker Leo Baptistao has become this Thursday the second signing of UD Almería, from the Brazilian Santos, and signs for the next four seasons until June 30, 2026, as reported by the club in a statement.
In this way, Baptistao, at 29 years old, returns to Spanish football after having been part of Atlético de Madrid, Betis, Villarreal, Rayo Vallecano and Espanyol, a club in which he coincided with Rubi and with which he will meet again.
The Brazilian will give consistency to Almería on his return to the top flight. “After hiring young players like Kaiky, Milovanovic, Guedes, Svidersky, the club is now focused on acquiring seniority,” he explained.
“Leo Baptistao is a striker who can function in different attacking positions. He has quality, good definition, he moves perfectly looking for spaces and will bring a lot of experience,” said the Andalusian team.
