Álvarez de Mon publishes ‘Let God go down and explain it’, the chronicle of three nights of comebacks from ‘Champions’

MADRID, 18 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Ramón Álvarez de Mon publishes ‘Let God go down and explain it’, the chronicle of “three unforgettable nights” at the Santiago Bernabéu that culminated in Real Madrid winning the fourteenth Champions League title against Liverpool after coming back from Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City.

“What you can read in this book could well correspond to the script of a Hollywood movie. One, whose criticism was that it is too far from reality, that it is too fanciful, like science fiction, in which you know that the hero will win against all odds and in any way,” writes the author.

The book, edited by Roca Editorial and which will be presented this Thursday 21 (7:00 p.m.) at FNAC Callao in Madrid, is the story of a new ‘Champions League’, of what was experienced at the Santiago Bernabéu between March 9 and May 4, 2022 that seemed like an “impossible feat” for Real Madrid, the club of comebacks.

“A perfect European Cup in its imperfection, in its distance from the prevailing Cartesianism and imposed by the dominant story,” adds Ramón Álvarez de Mon.

Álvarez de Mon Montoliu studied law and a business degree at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE). He is currently a partner at the Álvarez de Mon-Senante Abogados law firm. Since 2015 he has collaborated with La Galerna. A regular talk show host on Radio Marca’s La Tribu program for five seasons, he has now become a commentator for all Real Madrid matches. Also since July 2021 he is a regular on El Gran Debate, on Gol TV. He also has his Ramón Álvarez de Mon YouTube channel.
