RC Celta and Athletic Club announced this Saturday the transfer of Unai Núñez by the Basque team to the Galician team, for the 2022/23 season and with the option of the player staying in Vigo.
“RC Celta and Athletic Club have reached an agreement in principle for the loan of central defender Unai Núñez for the 2022/23 season. The loan may be extended for the 2023/24 season with a mandatory purchase option for RC Celta”, it says the Celtic.
The Basque squad reported along the same lines about the agreement to loan out their defender, with a contract at Athletic until 2025. Unai Núñez has not traveled to Düsseldorf with the rojiblanco team and will join Celta when all the documentation is signed.
