“With Kessie we fulfilled a request from the coach”

Joan Laportapresident of the FC Barcelonaserved as master of ceremonies at the protocol signing of Franck Kessie (25 years) as a new player of the Barça. The Ivorian signed his link with the Barça entity until 2026 (and with a clause of 500 million euros) in a ceremony held at the Sports City.

After signing Kessie, the president was very pleased to have tied the former midfielder of the Milan: “We are very satisfied with the incorporation of this player, a midfielder from Ivory Coast. It is seen that he is a great professional. We are very happy with how this operation has gone. Franck has always wanted to come to the Barça and we want players who are excited to come here. I want to thank his wife, his brother, his mother, his wife’s mother, and I wish them the best for his presence here.”

Joan Laporta assured that with kessie “One of the requirements that the coach wanted is fulfilled, to reinforce the average with a player of his characteristics. For that, I want to say congratulations to Mateu Alemany Already Jordi Cruyff because you have worked very well once again”.
