The RCD Espanyol made official on Thursday afternoon what was an open secret: Óscar Melendo he will not remain a club player next season.
The midfielder, one of the most promising projects of the quarry in recent seasons, decided not to renew with the Espanyol and since June 30 he has been a footballer free of contract since it ended this month, disassociating himself after 19 years wearing the same shirt.
