Almost 4.2 million viewers saw the Spain-Czech Republic on La1

Almost 4.2 million viewers saw this Sunday the victory (2-0) of the Spanish soccer team against the Czech Republic in the League of Nations, a match corresponding to the fourth day of the group stage played at La Rosaleda de Malaga, through La1 of Spanish Television.

According to the Public Entity, the Spain-Czech Republic was the most watched match of the Spanish team in all of 2022 and the space with the most audience of all the channels in June.

The victory of the Spanish team was followed by an average of 4,175,000 viewers, which represents a 32.7 percent audience share. The ‘golden minute’ of the day was at 10:31 p.m., when 5,004,000 people were in front of the screen.


In total, 8,915,000 spectators came at some point to connect to the game, which helped Luis Enrique’s team to become the leader of the League of Nations group thanks to goals from Carlos Soler and Pablo Sarabia.

After starting the national team break with two draws in their first two games, Spain ended up reversing the situation with victories against Switzerland and the Czech Republic. Now, with two games remaining in the Nations League group stage, the Spanish team depends on itself to win its group and qualify for the final phase of the competition.
